Obrey Nekhavhambe

Obrey studied at the University of the Witwatersrand where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce and Higher Diploma in Accountancy.

He is a seasoned business leader with experience in driving corporate strategy and effective governance principles in both the corporate and public service environments. His previous roles include Executive Finance and CFO (Acting) at Sentech SOC Limited, Director Accounting Support at National Treasury and Technical Accounting Manager at Deloitte. He also was a training officer at the CAA Academy at National Treasury, mentoring young professionals through the passion he has for learning and development.

He assumes responsibility for the financial functions of SAICA, ensuring effective financial direction and sound financial practices within the business to achieve the strategic ambitions of SAICA. The functions within the CFO role include financial management, management accounting, procurement and facilities portfolio management.
