Ilse Lubbe

Ilse is an Associate Professor in the College of Accounting at the University of Cape Town. She is currently a member of the Accounting Standards Board, its Technical Committee and the SAICA Public Sector Committee. She has been a member of the South African Accounting Academy (SAAA) Exco since 2013, is associate editor of Accounting Education, an international journal, and the South African Journal of Accounting Research (SAJAR). She was responsible for the planning, registration and development of the curriculum for the new Postgraduate Diploma in Public Sector Accounting at UCT and is the programme convener since its launch in 2015. She was the lead author of the textbook Financial Accounting: IFRS Principles.

She is a member of the Social, Ethics and Transformation Committee and a member of the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee.
