Babalwa Bekwa

Babalwa has 16 years’ IT experience in the public sector and in the banking, telecoms and insurance industries. Her core skills are in IT innovation, digital strategy and organisational transformation management, digitisation strategy implementation including mobile application design, product innovation, digital marketing strategy and social media. She is currently Head of the Strategic and Systems Programme Office at Discovery Health Systems and serves as a non-executive director on the Caliba Group board.

She is the chairman of the Digital Transformation Governance Committee and a member of the Audit and Risk Committee.
